The challenge to our client provide the logistics industry with a system that provides inventory control, fulfillment processing and on-line customer visibility in a powerful, economical package. The system needed to be scalable from a single warehouse to the enterprise, and flexible enough to handle rapidly changing shipment configurations—to help the end user—a shipper, freight company, or 3PL provider.

Solution |
Cargowise/Warehouse Management Solution is a warehouse solution that was designed specifically for goods in transit. As with our client other modules, the workflow follows the actual movement of shipments. The reporting features give both shippers and customers real time access to warehouse and inventory information via a website.
CargoWise/WMS was designed to be agile and flexible, to allow the quick customization of warehouse configurations, and item catalogs, against individual shipments, to manage customers' needs with a high level of responsiveness and economy. A key feature of the system was its ability to customize screens and transaction details to the individual requirements of users and their Fortune 500 customers—and yet serve a large number of users simultaneously.
As the Fortune 500 companies continue the process of outsourcing inventory management to their logistics providers, our client CargoWise/WMS has taken shape as a complete inventory system—with stocking levels, inbound and outbound goods tracking, management and reporting. It offers optional bar code generation, RF scanning, integration with EDI links, and online access through the Cargowise Internet Interface. It offers optional Bar code generation and RF scanning.
Our client CargoWise/WMS was engineered using Microsoft SQL Server for maximum reliability and performance. As technology continues to change rapidly, the solution is constantly updated to take advantage of new development tools. Cargowise Warehouse is a true inventory management tool as required by today’s logistics market.
